This Privacy Policy explains how Dupli ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Dupli mobile app or this website.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account info: email address (when you join the waitlist or create an account).
  • Camera images: when you scan a product, the image is processed to identify the product and its ingredients. Images are processed transiently and are not used to identify you personally.
  • Usage data: basic analytics (e.g., app opens, scans completed, crashes) to improve the product.
  • Purchase data: subscription status is provided by Apple. We do not receive your full payment details.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve product scanning and dupe-matching.
  • Send launch and product update emails (you can unsubscribe).
  • Provide customer support.
  • Detect abuse and keep the service secure.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers that help us operate Dupli (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
